The training methodology is based on a management system called “City Share”. This methodology consists of several processes of self-evaluation, review and transmission of experiences and good practices to achieve the improvement of an organisation’s performance. They also have a variety of tools that provide a common language for evaluation, exchange and adaptation of the experiences shared by participating cities, as well as a roadmap for action and progress. The process aims at optimizing common learning among local officials.

The participants share knowledge, experiences, good practices and lessons learned, to build a strategic action plan integrating international conventions into local development programmes.

The main beneficiaries of this training will be:

  • National, regional and local government officials
  • Representatives of academic institutions
  • Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs)
  • Civil society leaders
  • Private sector representatives
